... that the Tesla tuner prepping cars for Pike’s Peak went back and put an actual gauge cluster in front of the driver— just like a real car. Randy says some nice stuff about the team and the car.
Although midway through the run Randy still had to fiddle with the center screen— which seemed odd. Link to full video...

Can he sell the cluster as an aftermarket accessory ?

Unclear, but it seems like a reasonable sized market— and these guys apparently understand the electrical architecture and software bits well enough to do a good job of it. The component in Randy’s ride is pretty nice, in fact.
There’s probably a HUD version possible too. Even the diehards will admit that it’s kinda weird that The Car Leading the Market doesn’t have a HUD like a dozen other cars have had for decade.
I always wanted to tool some after-market door handles to sell. The TM3 handles are still pretty wonky.

Once Elon gets that brain implant sorted door handles will be a thing of the past. Keep your eyes peeled for the Telsla model ME, coming soon.

I'm sure that'd work out just as well as Windows ME did...
